So its an idea I had for quite some time, just never thought I'll actually get around to draw it coz i suck at comic like things...
So its inspired by the statues in gow Judgment, where one of them was wearing armor and the other had bunch of dead soldier's dogtags in its hands. I kinda had the idea those statues are of Embry- the guy who's armor we had to protect and who seemed to be the creator of the COG? So, in the other games I noticed other statues, of 'saints' with gearwheel halos, of angels/figures with wings/ and thinking that if the world there was supposed to be in socialistic system, it was fully possible for them to turn the creator/Embry/ in a sort of a war god, or protector watching over the soldiers.
So here we have Clayton Carmine, walking when he notices something falling on his shoulder/blood drop/ while he passes by a statue of Embry and when he looks up he sees the statue crying with blood tears; its because of the countless deaths the wars have brought, and for the personal tragedy of the Carmine brothers.

Well that's disturbing. And actually really fucking cool.
The second to last panel lacks any energy, though. It's just Clay looking right at a camera that happens to be a few inches higher than his forehead. It's really the only lackluster element of his pseudo-comic, but it stands out all the more for that. The rest are dark and weighty, with strong compositions.
Actually I take that back. Only just realized that the first panel is meant to be Clay's boots. Those really needed more detail and maybe a bootprint on the floor behind them. It was really hard to figure out what was going on until the last panel, which I guess is kind of the point, but I seriously could not put my finger on what that first panel was supposed to be.
